The summer transfer window is well and truly heating up with deals and bids coming in left, right and center for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham. The Gunners are battling Manchester City for Declan Rice but the Premier League champions have seen their opening bid for the England midfielder rejected by West Ham. Rice’s price tag remains at £100million, with the Gunners preparing a third bid.
Jurrien Timber is another player Arsenal are bidding for as Chelsea push to land Moises Caicedo, with the Nicolas Jackson deal in the bag and an announcement imminent. Kai Havertz’s move from Chelsea to Arsenal is also not far off after he completed a medical at the weekend, while the Blues are keen on Arsenal wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri and a shock swap deal for Dusan Vlahovic with Mateo Kovacic who is now a Man City player.
Elsewhere, Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison has reportedly agreed personal terms. Manchester United may be out of the race for Harry Kane but Bayern Munich remain interested, with Kane now keen on a move to Germany. Meanwhile, United will not reject their offer to Chelsea for Mason Mount. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumors and gossip live below!

Man United will not raise an offer for Mason Mount
Manchester United look set to remain steadfast in their stand at Mason Mount.
The Red Devils submitted a third offer to Chelsea last week for the England midfielder worth around £55m.
That bid was designed as a final take-it-or-leave-it approach, with United saying they were prepared to end negotiations for their top summer target if it was not accepted.
Chelsea duly rejected the bid but made a counter-offer worth an initial £58m plus £7m in add-ons, also offering to hold a face-to-face meeting to finalize negotiations.
But according to The Times, United will not raise their offer for Mount, despite predicting record profits for this year.
Jorginho is staying at Arsenal this summer
Jorginho will not leave Arsenal this summer.
The Italian midfielder has been linked with an exit from the Emirates just five months after completing a move to London from Chelsea.
A return to Serie A and a reunion with former Napoli and Blues boss Maurizio Sarri at Lazio have been heavily talked about for Jorginho, although his agent has confirmed his client is nowhere to be found.
“It’s not about Lazio’s interest or their budget… I can confirm that Jorginho is very happy at Arsenal,” he said.
“In our plans, it’s just Arsenal for next season. There are no negotiations with Lazio.”
Harry Kane keen on Bayern move after positive talks
Harry Kane is ready to join Bayern Munich if they can agree a fee with Tottenham for his transfer, written by Nizaar Kinsella.
The England captain has held positive talks with Bayern despite Spurs insisting they have yet to receive a bid for his services.
Kane is ready to agree personal terms with the reigning Bundesliga champions but Tottenham are adamant Kane is not for sale, although it is thought they could consider bids in excess of £100million.
The Athletic reported on Tuesday morning that Bayern had made a formal offer for Kane worth an initial £60m plus add-ons.

Man City have confirmed the signing of Mateo Kovacic
Manchester City have announced the signing of Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea.
Following the exit of club captain Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona, the European champions moved quickly to secure the services of Croatia international Kovacic on a four-year deal.
“It’s a brilliant move for me, and I can’t wait to start at City,” said Kovacic.
“Anyone who has watched this team under Pep knows how good they are – for me, they are the best in the world. The trophies they have won are obvious for all to see, but they are also the best football side out there. Joining this squad is indeed a dream for any footballer.
City will pay an initial £25million for Kovacic, who has a year remaining on his Chelsea contract, with a further £5m agreed in add-ons.

Tottenham made Vicario the first arrival at Postecoglou
Tottenham have announced the signing of Guglielmo Vicario after agreeing a £17million deal with Serie A side Empoli.
The Italian international goalkeeper represents the first new face added to Ange Postecoglou’s squad since the manager arrived earlier in the summer, following a permanent deal for Juventus loanee Dejan Kulusevski.
Vicario, 26, signed a five-year contract in north London after undergoing a medical on Monday and was handed the No13 shirt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Vicario’s arrival continues uncertainty over the future of Hugo Lloris, with the long-serving Spurs captain out of contract for 12 months and publicly confirming his desire for a new challenge.
Smyth seal QPR return
QPR have confirmed that Paul Smyth has returned to the club on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old left QPR in the summer of 2021 to join Leyton Orient, with the forward spending two seasons at Brisbane Road and helping them gain promotion to League One.
Smyth has now signed a three-year contract with QPR to become the Championship side’s first signing of the summer, leaving Orient as a free agent at the end of his deal.
“It’s great to be back and I can’t wait to get started,” Smyth told QPR’s official website.
“It’s really like I’ve been on loan for two years! I had a brilliant season at Leyton Orient and the interest was there at QPR and I just had to do it. I want to give it another chance in the Championship. I couldn’t refuse.

Leicester eye Coady deal
Conor Coady is a key target for Leicester, as the Foxes prepare for life in the Championship.
The centre-back spent the season on loan at Everton but they opted not to make the move permanent, with Coady returning to Wolves.
According to talkSPORT, Leicester had an initial bid for Coady rejected by Wolves, but remain confident a deal will be completed.
Ziyech move is over
Hakim Ziyech’s move to Al-Nassi is about to be announced.
Fabrizio Romano reports that all the documents have now been signed by Chelsea and the Saudi Arabian side, with only a medical remaining before his £8m move is completed.
Ziyech will play with Cristiano Ronaldo soon.
Transition budget announced
Manchester United have a transfer budget of £100-120million this summer.
That’s according to The Times, which reported that sales would have to fund any spending beyond that. Fred, Harry Maguire and Anthony Elanga are among those United want to sell.
It is believed that United will not exceed their current bid of £55m for Mason Mount, with the club wary of overpaying.
