Forgive them their sins and grant them the fullness of redemption won by your Son Jesus, who conquered death forever and opened wide for us the gates of eternity. Welcome all our dead into the joy of your heavenly kingdom where they will live and reign with you and all your saints forever.
6. God, merciful Father, hear my prayer as I bring before you my dear departed loved ones today. Forgive them every fault and fear that may separate them now from you. By your endless grace, cleanse their souls in the redemption of Christ and welcome them into peace and joy in your eternal kingdom with all your saints. May they come to worship you forever around your heavenly throne.
7. Lord Jesus Christ, by your own three days in the tomb you made holy the graves of all who die believing in You. To those now buried with you in death, grant freedom and fullness of eternal life. Lead the souls of all faithful departed from the shadows of death into your glorious presence where they will live and reign with you forever in Paradise.
8. Provident God, hear my prayer for all faithful souls departed this world trusting in you. Lead them from death into glorious life eternal. Prepare a welcoming place for them in your kingdom where they will rejoice with the angels and saints around your throne, delighting in your divine presence forever. For you alone are Lord of life and death. To you be all honor, glory and praise eternal!
9. Lord God, Creator of all, today I pray for the souls of my departed friends and loved ones. Forgive them their sins and grant them eternal light, happiness and peace. By your endless grace, welcome them into the heavenly Paradise you have prepared for all who love you. Permit them to join the angels and saints in praising your goodness and mercy forever.
10. Heavenly Father, enfold my dear departed loved ones into your arms of mercy and protection. Lead them on the path to their heavenly home to live forever in your presence divine, where they will no longer hunger or thirst, and you will wipe away their every tear. Thank you for your gift of resurrection and promise of eternal life through Christ Jesus who conquered death forever. Amen.
