FF16 - The Breaker of Worlds Location - Final Fantasy 16 Hunt Board Guide

The Hunt Board at Final Fantasy 16 is one of the best activities of the game, if you ask me. While most of the game is pretty straightforward as to where you need to go and the path you’ll take to get there, Hunt Board forces you to consider the map and actually explore its corners, to find something unique and challenging animals. to turn down. With each bounty, you’re usually given a general idea of where to look, but S-Tier Hunts, such as The Breaker of the Worldgives you fewer hints, and is a bit tighter.

Final Fantasy 16 – ‘The Breaker of Worlds’ Hunt Description

The first S-Tier bill you’ll see in the game is called ‘The Breaker of Worlds’. It reads:

‘Urgent notice to all Cursebreakers: due to the discovery of a Fallen giant in the ruins of Rosariun that we have recently been investigating, all work in the region must cease with immediate effect, and all members must not continue to village gate , the rumor of our presence might wake up. Final Fantasy 16 – ‘The Breaker of Worlds’ Hunt Location

So, there are some clues to be gained from this one. The first is the mention of ‘Fallen’ and ‘ruins’ in the same sentence, pointing to the Fallen ruins. If you haven’t been paying attention to the story up to this point, Fallen Ruins are those white, angelic structures that dot the natural landscape, sometimes remaining above ground.

And although the location is specifically mentioned in this particular hunt bill, the fact that the ruins are described as ‘Rosarian Ruins’ puts a point of interest in, you guessed it, Rosaria – that’s the top left region of your map of world.

The second clue is the mention of a ‘village gate’. Today, there are few villages you will visit in Rosaria – Martha’s Gate, Eastpol, etc. but it was mostly inhabited by villagers, and probably not where a massive creature was waiting.

You may also remember that you came across an abandoned village earlier in one of your quests – Cressida. There you go.

Check your Local Map, and you should find Cressida labeled in the eastern part of the region. It’s best to head there (the most convenient fast travel is to Martha’s Rest) on your chocobo, as there are a lot of swarming enemies along the way. Once you’ve entered Cressida from its single entry point, you’ll need to leave your Chocobo, and do the rest on foot.

Head to the conveniently sized arena behind the village, and you’ll stumble upon your mark: Atlas.

Atlas is a Level 40 giant with a wide attack range. It will probably be 10 or more levels above you when you first see Hunt Bill for it, and you may have to wait until later in the game to face him. That said, if you are very confident in your avoidance skills, it is possible to take him down.

For those who are already focused Final Fantasy 16’s pre-release marketing campaign, the game’s main director and combat director actually revealed the location for this quest in a live stream before launch, and showed that he could, in fact, be removed.

You can watch a video of the route to the shooting location, which starts at Martha’s Rest.
